NewComLink is an
exciting early stage growing company with an innovative technology platform
that provides retailers with a range of payment products at point of need.
The IT Analyst will
primarily responsible for the technical analysis, requirements, testing and
support of client system implementations. The IT Analyst will act as a
technology expert and work with clients and stakeholders throughout the life of
a project to translate needs into technical specifications and ensure the right
solution is delivered to clients. This
person will also be responsible for ongoing support of technology and clients
including analysis, troubleshooting, and reporting. Other responsibilities may include project
management, client support and training.
Role & Responsibilities:
· Expand current POS (Point of Sale) software
to handle multiple payment products. Experience with payment products like bank cards, installment loans, lease products and others.
· Expand credit process to multiple
channels beyond POS. Experience with retailer POS systems, kiosks, web
applications, mobile applications.
· Consult with client partners on the
setup and design of their integration.
· Build and document business
requirements and functional requirements for Retailer POS system enhancements
and Lender Partner integrations.
· Manage installation and deployment
activities for the project; POS software applications,
hardware installations, infrastructure/network changes.
· Create conceptual designs for end to end solutions. Develop process flows, system architecture,
and integration requirements for the IT team and client partners.
· Develop software user testing plans
and executing user testing. Be the SME & Liaison for communicating with clients,
IT partners and 3rd party providers.
· Plan and establish post launch
activities including ongoing system support and performance reporting
· Continually stay up-to-date with
industry changes/trends and bring in new technology to the company.
Experience & Qualifications
· The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5
or more years of experience (preferably in the retail credit industry) and a
technical undergraduate degree.
·
Knowledge of Retail POS applications and payment
processing systems.
· Candidates who have worked in the
areas of application programming, database and system design and client/server
architectures
· Exhibit strong analysis and problem
solving skills
· Exhibit excellent communication
skills: Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
· Self-starters able to work in a start
up environment, while helping build out mature organization.
· Requires travel and may require
non-standard business hours based on client needs.
· Strong Familiarity with:
· XML Web Services
· HTML, validation tools, encryption
tools
· HTTPs/SOAP, VPN, networking,
Networking technologies TCP/IP, DNS, Firewalls, Frame Relays
· Database concepts, SQL and reporting
· PCI compliance standards
· Proficiency with the following tools:
Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Visio, and Microsoft SQL
Server/Access
